There are two floors of famous fun!HistoryEstablished in 2014.In 1761, Madame Tussaud herself was born as Marie Grosholtz in Strasbourg. During the French Revolution, Marie was imprisoned but quickly released to make death masks of executed nobles. She inherited Dr. Philippe Curtius wax exhibition in 1794, and in 1795, she married Francois Tussaud. In 1802, Madame Tussaud left her husband behind and took her wax exhibition and relics from the French Revolution to Britain. Marie Tussaud died in 1850, but her grandsons moved her attraction to London in 1884. Today, there are Madame Tussauds attractions in more than 20 cities around the world! In 2014, Madame Tussauds San Francisco became the fifth location to open in the United States!
