It’s incarnations include Garibaldi Hall in the ’20s, then the Italian Supper club in the ’40s, and On Broadway in the ’70s when Punk Rock slam-danced its way into North Beach giving stage time to the Dead Kennedys, Iggy Pop, The Nuns, Metallica and many more.In the ’80s it housed a variety of theater shows including “La Cage”, featuring a transvestite cabaret show, and numerous music shows. In 2005, this historical building underwent a structural earthquake retrofit and a complete remodeling.Today, it is one of San Francisco’s finest venues for all forms of entertainment.This spectacular venue with its art deco interior, distinctive ambiance, newly refurbished hardwood dance floor, 30′ cast iron cathedral ceiling and majestic wraparound balcony creates a magical and memorable environment for any kind of celebration.Meet the Manager
